Longwave pass filters transmit longer wavelengths than the cut-on wavelength while it blocks/reflects shorter wavelengths.

Our high-performance OD 4.0 longpass filters offer excellent transmission in the pass band and outstanding blocking in the rejection band.

With an optical density of 4.0 in the rejection band and over 91% transmission in the pass band, these filters are well-suited for a wide range of applications.

They feature a hard coating, with a hard dielectric sputtered on the first surface and an anti-reflective (AR) coating on the second. When combined with our high-performance shortpass filters, they can be used to create custom bandpass filters for effective stray light elimination.

Please note that these filters are optimized for superior spectral performance rather than high Laser Induced Damage Thresholds (LIDT). The typical LIDT for these filters is 1 J/cm² at 532nm, 10ns. If a higher LIDT value is required, please contact us for more information.
